SKRINING PENYAKIT TIDAK MENULAR PADA MASYARAKAT DI DERMAGA PALABUHANRATU KABUPATEN SUKABUMI

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are diseases that cannot be transmitted from person to person and develop slowly over a long period of time (chronic). One of the Non-Communicable Diseases is Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Hypertension health services/screening are listed in the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation number 4 of 2019 by looking at behavioral risk factors. At the Palabuhanratu Health Center, it is known that the proportion of Hypertension service coverage until October 2023 is still below 10% while the coverage of Diabetes Mellitus services fluctuates still below 16%. One effort to increase the coverage of NCD services, especially Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus, is to carry out NCD screening activities in the community by pairing these activities with free health checks. NCD screening activities are carried out through anamnesis using the Ministry of Health screening form. Hypertension screening is in the form of a blood pressure check, but in Diabetes Mellitus screening it is continued with a rapid test. The results of the screening, if someone at risk is found, are immediately forwarded to the local Health Center.
