EDUKASI DAN SIMULASI PERAWATAN LUKA SEDERHANA PADA ESKTRAKURIKULER DOKCIL DI SD ASSALAAM
Abstract
Accidents in children can occur anywhere, including in the school environment. Accidents cause injuries to children. In the school environment, injuries often occur during play or school activities. The increase in cases of injuries in schools has increased, so it is important to conduct education and simulations related to wounds and simple wound care simulations. The community service method is health education about wounds and simulations; simple wound care. Partners in the community service activity are SD. Assalaam Bandung, participants in the activity are 16 students who take part in the Doccil extracurricular. Tools and materials in the community service activity are PowerPoint, LCD devices, materials related to wounds and simple wound care equipment that refer to Standard Operating Procedures. The community service activity is carried out through three stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation and publication reporting. Evaluation is carried out through 5 questions given directly to students. The conclusion of the community service activity is that simple wound care education has proven effective in increasing students' knowledge and skills in treating minor wounds. Therefore, schools are advised to hold health education activities regularly to support students' independence in performing first aid.
